Dr. Joan Roche

Dr. Joan Roche, PhD, RN, GCNS-BC is the Clinical Director for the Roche Associates, Inc. Dr. Roche is a board certified Gerontological Clinical Nurse Specialist, with a specialty on the care of people with Alzheimer’s. Dr. Roche works with the families and caregiver’s for individuals with Alzheimer’s. She focuses on enhanced Alzheimer’s and Dementia Care programs.

Dr. Roche retired from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, where she was a professor in the College of Nursing. She held a 13 year joint appointment between the University and Baystate Medical Center. Her clinical work and research focused on the development, implementation, & evaluation of health enhancing programs for the elderly, in the hospital and in the community.
